Watertemperature sensor function of dieselunit

1. Modify the fuel injection amount; increase the fuel injection at low temperature;

2. Correct the ignition advance Angle; increase the ignition advance Angle at low temperature, and delay the ignition advance Angle at high temperature to prevent deflagration;

3. Impact on the idle control valve; when the temperature is low, the electronic control unit controls the action of the idle control valve according to the water temperature sensing signal to increase the speed.

4. When the machine is high temperature during operation, alarm and stop in time to prevent the fault from expanding.

Structure and composition of the water temperature sensor:

The interior of the sensor is a semiconductor thermistor, the lower the temperature, the greater the resistance; otherwise the smaller the resistance, installed on the engine cylinder block or the water head, direct contact with the cooling water, thus side the temperature of the engine cooling water. The unit of the electric control measures the temperature of the engine cooling water according to this change. The lower the temperature, the greater the resistance; otherwise, the smaller the resistance. The electric control unit measures the temperature of the engine cooling water according to this change as the correction number for fuel injection and ignition timing. Simply put, we can know the current running state of the temperature of the engine through the water temperature, stop or move, or how long the movement time is.

Water temperature sensor working principle:

Water temperature sensor signal to the ECU, and then the ECU with the signal to control the electronic fan, there is when the engine is cold start or public temperature is low, the engine according to the temperature of the correction, by increasing the fuel injection in order to rapidly improve the engine temperature to the best working temperature, shorten the warm-up time. If the engine works hard, when the temperature is too high, the fuel injection due to the water temperature signal to protect the engine.
